在春雨的滋润下，竹笋纷纷破土而出，近一个冬天的酝酿，他们生长得很快。但是有一种竹子，在长到一定高度时，便不再生长。它们没有跟随别的种子，他们有自己的想法。别的竹子都长得高高的，低下头来，轻轻地摇动叶子，显得很美丽，仿佛在嘲笑低矮的他们，人们也很不屑，认为他们太没用，路过时还用脚踢他们。但是他们毫不在乎。

终于，很久以后，在一个下雨的夜晚，他们开始奋力地生长。第二天，人们便震惊了。他们仿佛在一夜之间便顶天立地，在这片竹林里显得鹤立鸡群。人们这才明白了他们的想法。它们用了很长的时间在地下扎根，等到根扎稳固了，长高了才不会倒。他们是毛竹，一种很名贵的竹子，有自己独特的想法，是独立地思考者。

我突然想起了那段恐怖的交通事故。曾经在一条公路上，一辆电动车因闯红灯被一辆急速行驶的车撞出几米外，电动车车主当场死亡。这样的事情，现在已经很常见，因交通事故死亡的人每年都在增加。一次电视台记者在一个十字路口做的采访。在路口，电动车，自行车几乎没有不闯红灯的！记者采访了闯红灯的那些人，没想到他们的回答几乎全是，“别人都在闯红灯啊！”当记者告诉他们不要再闯红灯时，他们则快速点点头，敷衍了事，然后扬长而去。

想到这里，我不禁疑惑了。难道他们都是不会思考的行尸走肉吗？自己闯红灯的理由竟是别人在闯红灯？！这些随波逐流的人，比植物都不如！

在十字路口的红灯处，人们都闯红灯时，我收住了将要盲从的脚步。在一片闯红灯的人群中，我坚决地站定，我想我做到了，我是个独立的思考者。
