i want to start out by saying, i talk about this — about keeping women in the workforce — because i really think that's the answer. in the high-income part of our workforce, in the people who end up at the top — fortune 500 ceo jobs, or the equivalent in other industries — the problem, i am convinced, is that women are dropping out. now people talk about this a lot, and they talk about things like flextime and mentoring and programs companies should have to train women. i want to talk about none of that today, even though that's all really important. today i want to focus on what we can do as individuals. what are the messages we need to tell ourselves? what are the messages we tell the women that work with and for us? what are the messages we tell our daughters?now, at the outset, i want to be very clear that this speech comes with no judgments. i don't have the right answer. i don't even have it for myself. i left san francisco, where i live, on monday, and i was getting on the plane for this conference. and my daughter, who's three, when i dropped her off at preschool, did that whole hugging-the-leg, crying, "mommy, don't get on the plane" thing. this is hard. i feel guilty sometimes.

布莱恩让是泰国著名耍蛇人,且他耍的不是一般的蛇,而是令人毛骨悚然的剧毒眼镜蛇。

19xx年,26岁的布莱恩让和一千条眼镜蛇同在一个玻璃柜中“同居”了整整7天而安然无恙,创下当时的吉尼斯纪录,被誉为世界“蛇王”,闻名全球。

最后,也是最重要的,你还没男朋友,或还没有结婚,并不表示就没有幸福快乐的权力。

是的,我知道在飘着细雨的夏日黄昏,在吹着微风的春日早晨,在夜凉如水的深秋月夜,在温馨欢乐的团聚节日里,你只身一人倍感凄凉。我也知道身为女人,打从少女情怀总是诗的粉红年岁开始,美好的婚姻生活和成为母亲的温柔情愫,就是我们怀抱着梦想和憧憬的悠悠心绪。因此,良辰美景无人共赏时的寂寞和清冷,是可以预见的情绪,也是你无需隐藏的真实表情。

但我想说的是,你可以“认知”自己会有灰色抑郁的情绪,也可以容许自己凭吊这样的失落,但你却不能允许自己沉溺在其中。

很多时候,情绪是一种习惯,刚开始你只是偶然遇见它,感受它的强烈。但如果你让某种情绪持续下去,日子久了,它就会变成一种依赖,你不一定会再感受到它的强烈冲击,但它已经成为一种在呼吸间、在血肉里的寄生物,时刻与你为伍,左右你的思想,改变你的表情,影响你的生理功能,甚至说服你相信自己就活该与它相处一辈子。

所以,你可以难过悲伤,但请不要在里面待得太久。克服寂寞恐慌的办法就是:

不要躲闪。认真地感受它,确知它的存在。不要故意忽略或刻意地隐藏它们,

因为,你越是把它们往下压,它们就弹得越高,好引起你的注意。而且,总是得不到出口的压抑情绪会寻找出路,转而攻击身体器官来得到能量的释放。这就是在心理学上常见到的身心症(psychosomatic)的由来。而身心症最常攻击的器官,就是在白领间最常看见的肠胃方面的疾病。

根据情况,每天或每几天,给自己一段时间,深刻地沉浸在这种寂寞感伤的情绪中,让自己的委屈得到完全的释放。如果你不知道怎么释放它们,或害怕自己在悲伤的情绪里呆得太久而无法自拔,我自己的方法是和要好的朋友们在一起,找一部能让大伙儿都动容的好片子,窝在家里一起看,一起毫无顾忌的放声大哭(你可以哭得大声一点!)。

很多人都读过这样两句诗:旧时王谢堂前燕,飞入平常百姓家。王谢是晋代闻名遐迩的两大家族。谢家以谢安为代表,淝水之战以少胜多一代良相堪称高洁典范。王家自然是以王羲之为代表,竹扇题字入木三分一代书圣实属名流千古。

这就是我的偶像——王羲之。“清风入袖,明月入怀”,人们用绝妙的比喻形容王羲之的书法,他的代表作品是《兰亭序》,作品的笔法、墨气、行款、神韵,无不为后人赞叹景仰。他是一个没有真迹存世的大书法家,然而后人对他的书法作品却是推崇备至,如痴如醉。他的故事也是家喻户晓,妇孺皆知。

绍兴市西街戒珠寺内有个墨池,传说就是当年王羲之洗笔的地方。 王羲之7岁练习书法,勤奋好学。17岁时他把父亲秘藏的前代书法论著偷来阅读,看熟了就练着写,他每天坐在池子边练字,送走黄昏,迎来黎明,写完了多多少少的墨水,写烂了多多少少的笔头,每天练完字就在池水里洗笔,天长日久竟将一池水都洗成了墨色,这就是人们今天在绍兴看到的传说中的墨池。

王羲之练字专心致志,达到废寝忘食的地步。他吃饭走路也在揣摩字的结构,不断地用手在身上划字默写,久而久之,衣襟也磨破了,功夫不负有心人,有一次,他为人写一块匾在木板上写了几个字样,送去叫人雕刻。刻工发现字的墨渍竟渗入木板里面约有三分深。

从幼儿园开始,妈妈就开始让我练习书法。在书法学习的路上,我哭过也闹过。每次练习,一站就是一两个钟头,不仅十分乏味,还累得腰酸背痛。于是我开始抱怨妈妈,为什么要送我来学习书法?后来渐渐明白,学习书法真的

能陶冶人的性情,培养人的耐心和修养。我逐渐明白妈妈的良苦用心。当然,真正让我对书法由逼迫到热爱的,是来自于那本字帖《兰亭序》。我惊异于世间竟有这样出神入化的书法,它完全迷醉了我的双眼,也在我心里种下了梦想的种子。书法是一门艺术,是一门美的学问,我也要成为一名书法家。

经过好几年的练习,我的书法水平也有了很大的提高。在老师的鼓励下,我开始尝试参加各类书法比赛。记得小学三年级的时候,书法老师就带着我来到北京参加现场书法比赛,我是一个腼腆的女孩,第一次在外地见到这么多人比赛,心情十分激动而紧张。比赛的头一天晚上,我还在酒店里紧张地练习,反复地揣摩,做最后的冲刺。比赛成绩揭晓,我排在第二,与第一名失之交臂。我下定决心,一定要在下一次比赛中取得第一。于是我更加刻苦地练习。三年后,我又一次来到北京参赛,总结了上一次失利的经验后,我显得成熟了很多。这一次,我再也没有给对手机会,以书法第一名的成绩评为“全国十佳”。

妈妈说,时机成熟的时候会给我办一个书法作品展。我也很期待有这么一天,把自己的作品供给大家来观看,这或许是对我多年努力的最好肯定吧。也许有人会问,练书法,又不能走捷径,年复一年,日复一日,你不累吗?我会说,当然!累的时候,也曾有想放弃的'念头,但想起王羲之,竟把池塘变墨池,清水变成黑水,我的这点辛苦又算得了什么呢?他对书法已经达到了忘我的境界,而我,还只是一个在门外观望的猎奇者。于是,在柔和的灯光下,我又重新振作精神,铺开宣纸,倒上浓墨,为着自己的梦想继续前进!

感谢我的偶像王羲之,是他带领我走进书法艺术的殿堂。兴致来时,铺开宣纸,挥毫泼墨,让手中的笔自由行走,流转,翻飞,实在是生活中妙不可言的享受。我的生活或许没有奇迹,但书法一定会成为我梦想的奇迹。
