例如，有两个同学在教室里打架，你打一拳，我掐你一下，周围的课桌椅都东倒西歪，旁边的同学也因为劝阻被打伤了。老师知道了，狠狠地教训了一顿，那两个同学才知道错了，十分后悔。
其实同学之间有一点儿小摩擦是很正常，可是为何非要用武力解决呢。而且过程中，一位同学掐着另一位同学的脖子，而那一位被掐的同学，要是有哮喘呢，那出点事情多危险，有谁付得起这个责任。这件事情的原因其实很简单，就是一位同学觉得好玩，总是把另外一位同学的东西偷偷拿走并藏起来，那位同学因为生气就把他的手表调快或者调慢几小时，两人就因为这么一件小事而打起来了。这两位同学都有错，同学之间大闹是可以的，但不能够得寸进尺，要有一定的尺度;那位被玩弄的同学，也应该冷静一下，不必要又捉弄回去，完全可以告诉老师和家长，这样一来，不仅那位同学受到了处罚，自己还毫无损伤，也没有危害到他人。
导致这件事的根本原因，还是因为这两个人都不讲文明，十分没有素质，其实生活中讲文明，有素质的人还是很多的。
比如，上次去看电影，我们身边坐着一个叔叔，他边看电影边吃着水果，等看完电影后发现，他座位旁竟然没有一点垃圾。原来，他在自己座椅扶手上挂了一个塑料袋，把果皮扔进袋子里带走。这看上去虽然是举手之劳，但却为别人树立了文明的榜样，真是一举两得，这可是一般人很少在意的细节之处啊!
这种事情生活中到处都有。这也说明，文明对于我们来说是很重要的。它的意义，小而言之，关系自己的身心健康，大而言之，关系到名族的前途和国家的昌盛。这不正是党的十八大报告提出的社会主义核心价值中的吗。因此，我们不应该用武力来解决问题，我们应该在遇到问题时，冷静地思考，不管在哪里都要讲文明，讲礼貌。
